Shell Shockers
About Shell Shockers
There is something incredibly absurd yet mechanically brilliant about Shell Shockers. It takes the classic First-Person Shooter formula—think Counter-Strike or Quake—and replaces hardened soldiers with... eggs. But do not let the comedic premise fool you; this is a highly competitive, fast-paced shooter that requires precision aiming and excellent spatial awareness. The developers have managed to create distinct weapon classes that actually feel balanced. The "Scrambler" shotgun is devastating up close, while the "Crackshot" sniper rifle rewards players with perfect aim. The maps are cleverly designed with verticality in mind, offering plenty of vantage points and flanking routes. Whether you are playing Free-For-All or the objective-based Captula the Spatula, the adrenaline rush of hearing an enemy egg crack never gets old.
How to Play
Standard PC FPS controls apply here, which makes it very easy to pick up. WASD to move, Mouse to aim and shoot. Shift to aim down sights, Space to jump, E to swap weapons, and R to reload. You can customize your sensitivity heavily in the options menu, which is crucial for competitive play.
Game Features
- Distinct weapon classes (Sniper, Shotgun, SMG)
- Private lobbies to play with friends
- Customizable egg skins and stamps
- Multiple game modes including Captula the Spatula
Tips and Strategies
1. Aim for the center mass. Headshots do not exist since everyone is an egg! 2. Use the geometry to your advantage; bouncing grenades around corners is highly effective. 3. The EggK-47 is the most versatile weapon for medium-range engagements.

"Marcus says: I strongly recommend lowering your mouse sensitivity in the settings. The default is a bit too high for tracking fast-moving targets. I exclusively use the Free Ranger (Sniper) for the one-shot potential."
